Free Dictation, Pro Meetings
- WunderWhisper is now free, with an optional Pro. All of dictation stays free: no word cap, no account.
- Meeting recording is part of Pro: $29 once, for up to 3 Macs, with all future updates. Every Mac gets 3 meetings with every feature first, and meetings you recorded stay yours whether you buy or not.
- A new License tab in Settings: buy Pro, enter your license key, or free up this Mac.

Silent Microphone Check
- Muted microphone or the wrong input selected? WunderWhisper now notices within a few seconds, stops the dictation and tells you which microphone it couldn’t hear, instead of leaving you talking to nothing.
- A new About tab in Settings shows which version you’re running.

- Start talking the moment you press the key: your first word makes it into the text, even when you don’t pause before speaking.

Cleaner Live Transcript
- Taking a call without headphones? Your microphone also picks up the other side. The live transcript now leaves that echo out, so their words no longer appear twice.
- The echo is caught even when a word is slightly misheard.

Cancel and Stop
- The dictation pill has two buttons now: ✕ takes back the words typed so far, ■ finishes the dictation.
- Start/Stop dictation runs for up to 30 minutes, so long dictations aren’t cut off.
- Switching apps in the middle of a dictation is safer: the cleanup never touches the app you switched to.

Faster Cleanup
- The cleaned-up text arrives sooner, also for the first dictation after a break or a restart.
- In Chrome (Gmail, web chats) your cursor now stays at the end of your text after the cleanup.

Live Answers
- New and experimental (off by default): during a meeting, a small panel suggests a reply when the other side finishes a question. Needs a cloud AI provider.

- WunderWhisper now checks for updates once a day and shows a dot in the menu bar when one is ready. It never restarts during a meeting.
- New Start/Stop shortcut: press once to start, press again to stop. Made for long dictation, remotes and foot pedals.
- In terminal apps your dictated text is left exactly as typed.
